Well, it’s not too bad, as long as you don’t mind doing lots of work. I got a 3 on the AP test, but I didn’t do very well in the class. Credit is credit.
Just make sure to take really good notes, don’t slack off, and don’t freak out. If you combine these, it will make your time in that class a whole lot easier. The biggest problem I saw among my friends who didn’t do well, they freaked out, putting too much stress on themselves. Stress is good, but too much is bad.
Just take my advice and you’ll do great.

I didn’t study enough and got a 3. Study and make sure you understand things rather than just memorizing. Be sure to practice on those DBQs– they’re tricky.

When I took AP World History it was also my first AP. It was the hardest class I had taken up to that point, but not so difficult that I was studying every minute. In my class we wrote essays pretty much every other day, but I don’t know how it will be in your class. We had a lot of reading and writing to do, so be prepared for that. Good luck.
