Yes, but the standards vary from state to state. We learn World History in 5th grade, 7th grade, 10th grade, and then you take it at your own free will after that. However, the teachers only cover so much. Mostly European Dark Ages, Cold War, World Wars, and spend a lot of time on China (this is California standards).

I don’t remember learning specifics on the ancient cultures of Latin America, but some teachers do cover that. Some teachers tend to emphasize more on a certain section, because THEY find it interesting. Such as, Black teachers tend to emphasize African American history in the U.S. or Mexican teachers will emphasize Mexican American war and how the Mexicans were evicted from their homes in the seized lands.

Key word in your question: DISNEY!!! When has Disney ever been accurate? Have you seen Hercules?? That movie has so many inaccuracies, I’m sure 1000 Greek Historians committed ******* upon it’s release. Same for Mulan, Pocahontas, and other of Disney’s shots at history.

Don’t get me started on Disney’s re-writing history (seriously?! waterfalls in JAMESTOWN!!?!?)…but yes, the US does have some world history education, it’s just not super consistent or super accurate

Yes we have World History in the states, but it varies from state to state. I’ve learned after talking with my children over the years that the classes have not changed much since I graduated high school. They might as well call the classes European History, since that’s what they mostly concentrate on.

Oh, and Shadows, the word is TAKEN. I don’t belive tooken is even a word.
